Our scientific staff had attend 14th National Conference on Atmospheric Pressure Plasma and its Application Technology hold in Chengdu, China on 15-17 May 2026. The conference served as a vital strategic forum to advance low-temperature plasma science in China. The conference established three interconnected objectives: accelerating fundamental research, fostering deep cross-disciplinary collaboration, and bridging the gap between laboratory innovation and industrial commercialization. At its core, the primary objective was to evaluate national scientific progress and address critical engineering bottlenecks. The event provided a centralized platform to benchmark advancements in plasma diagnostics, numerical simulations, and source designs. By identifying technical limitations - such as maintaining discharge stability - the conference aimed to unify research directions toward creating more predictable plasma systems. Equally important was the objective to dismantle academic silos through cross-disciplinary integration. Organizers focused heavily on connecting physical scientists with clinical medical professionals to accelerate plasma medicine, ensuring laboratory discoveries translate effectively into validated clinical solutions. Finally, the conference aimed to align plasma technology with national industrial and ecological strategies. By engaging corporate stakeholders, the symposium sought to transition plasma applications into high-volume manufacturing lines, while promoting its role in environmental remediation and green agriculture. Ultimately, it created a robust pipeline driving both economic growth and technological independence.
