    PTL engineers had finished the installation work for a high energy gas ion source GIS in Fraunhofer Institute IOF and Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Germany. The GIS source is used for R&D works of surface treatment of materials for optical applications. Jena is a German city and the second largest city in Thuringia. Together with the nearby cities of Erfurt and Weimar.
